Editorial policy
Grand Travel Journal aims to make travel writing clear, careful and useful beyond a single season. We distinguish explanation from opinion and make uncertainty visible where it matters.
Accuracy and independence
We check names, descriptions and factual statements before publication, using appropriate sources for the subject. We do not present personal preference as fact, and we avoid claims that require readers to rely on unverified experience or specialist authority. Editorial decisions remain separate from commercial arrangements.
Corrections
If you spot an error or an unclear passage, please use the Contact page and describe the article and point at issue. We review correction requests and amend published material when warranted; meaningful changes are identified in the article so readers can understand what changed.
Partners and paid material
Any paid, sponsored or partner material is clearly labelled where it appears. A partnership does not guarantee editorial coverage or determine our independent editorial decisions. We do not disguise advertising as ordinary editorial material.
Images and illustrations
Some illustrations may be AI-generated. Where an image is illustrative rather than documentary, we aim to make that distinction clear and do not use an illustration to imply a real scene or event.
A journey is more than its destination.
The route, the pace and the attention you bring all change what a place can offer. We make space for those choices.
