Partnerships

Grand Travel Journal considers a limited range of travel-related collaborations and partner placements when they suit the publication and are clearly useful to readers. All commercial material is identified where it appears.

Suitable collaborations

We are open to considered collaborations with travel publishers, cultural venues, transport and hospitality businesses, and organisations connected to responsible place-based interpretation. A proposal should explain the subject, intended audience, format and any commercial relationship involved.

Partner placements

Relevant partner links or placements may appear in designated areas of the site. They are labelled as partner material, kept distinct from independent editorial recommendations and reviewed for fit with the publication's subject. Placement does not imply endorsement of every claim or service offered by a partner.

Editorial independence

Partners do not approve or control independent editorial coverage. We do not accept arrangements that require an unlabelled placement, a guaranteed favourable article or the appearance of an independent recommendation where one does not exist.
